Karin Laglas opens expert meeting MOVe
26 January 2012 by Marketing & CommunicatieOn 20 January dean Karin Laglas opened the expert meeting organised by the research group MOVe (Social Entrepreneurship and Housing Management) on the organisation of property development by housing associations.
When many such events are focusing on the financial, legal or (macro) economical analysis of the new reality of housing associations, this meeting focused on proposed organisational changes that accompany this new reality.
Organisational changes at associations
These are difficult times for property development. In spite of this, the ambitions of the housing associations remain invariably high. The challenges are enormous, yet the (financial) possibilities are becoming ever more limited. What effect does this changed reality and challenge have on the organisation of associations and their projects? How can the housing association organise the property development process so that it is able to take advantage of the possibilities that are still available, irrespective of the changes? What partnerships are possible in the sector? What are the pitfalls that need avoiding? Questions that were raised during the MOVe expert meeting.
